What are Fitness Goals?

Skill-related Fitness Goals

Health-related Fitness Goals

Health-related fitness goals are those that focus on overall health and wellness. These goals are typically related to improving cardiovascular health, muscular strength and endurance, and body composition. For example, an individual may set a goal to lower their cholesterol level, or to increase their muscle strength by lifting weights. Health-related fitness goals are often used to measure an individual’s progress in terms of their general health and well-being.

In conclusion, skill-related and health-related fitness goals are two distinct categories of fitness goals. Skill-related fitness goals focus on improving physical skills, while health-related fitness goals focus on improving overall health and wellness. Both types of goals are important for individuals to set and achieve in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
